# Vilja Social

> Vilja Social (vilja.social), usually called Vilja, is a Norwegian app for discovering events and gathering people. It indexes public events in Norway, especially Oslo, and lets people create a gathering, share one link, and collect RSVPs without requiring every guest to have an account.

Vilja is free to use. Public event pages can be read without an account. The supported agent integration is the Vilja MCP server, using Streamable HTTP and OAuth with PKCE; calls to MCP tools require authorization with a Vilja account.

Only call `rsvp_to_event`, `save_event`, or `unsave_event` when the user has explicitly asked for that change. Do not use the MCP server for ticket purchases, payments, event creation, or invitation sending; those capabilities are not exposed. Preserve Norwegian event titles, descriptions, and venue names verbatim. Treat times as Europe/Oslo unless a response includes an explicit offset.
